A young person interested in being a member of the choir should use the form to set up an audition (preferably before March 1st). This can be on campus or at one of the choir concerts on tour (see the performance schedule). Auditionees should prepare to sing a song of their choice, sight-read a simple piece, and to provide a wallet-sized photo of themselves.

The academic year of the choir student begins before classes, with a week of rehearsal at choir camp at Hodges Gardens, near Many, LA. The Centenary College Choir is the only college choir with this tradition.

The choir is open to Centenary students regardless of their academic major. Please note that an audition for the school of music is not automatically an audition for the Centenary College Choir.

Scholarships are available to members of the choir from the following endowments:

  • Alberta and Harvey Broyles
  • A.C. "Cheesy" Voran, choir alumni scholarships
  • Don Garner
  • Shannon Brown
  • Donald and Renee Webb
  • Gwen Murphy
  • Mrs. Otis Cox
  • Wes Alford
  • Will K. Andress
  • Goins Family
  • Doyle and Pat Pickett
  • Woolworth Foundation
